Aerospace: Dr. Simonetta di Pippo, Astrophysicist and former Head of Human Resources at ESA and Director of UNOOSA (United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs), and Vicki Selva, Executive Director of Michigan Defense Center, will discuss Space Economy; General Vittori (astronaut) and Engineer Giuseppe Santangelo will share experiences with NASA MARS lunar rover, drones and more. Shop & See - Where you can shop the fabulous Detroit designers (with a live component) that will be showcased and celebrated, as well as sculptures from reclaimed materials by the artist Paolo Nicolai. Open to all, no registration required

Furniture and Sustainability – Architect Luisa Bocchietto, Former President of the Industrial Design Association (ADI) and of the World Design Organization (WDO) will talk about furniture, sustainability, Italian design and how design has expanded from product design to the design of processes and services that involve communities as well as companies. Architect Bocchietto will also discuss how to submit an application to WDO to become a WDO Capital of Design in 2026 (as Turin has been in the past). This synergistic effort will bring Italy even closer to Detroit, carrying out further joint projects on the theme of Design. Registration Required
